Unique sea salt with naturally low sodium content

The unique Saltwell sea salt grain is naturally low in sodium chloride - only 65% – thereby drastically reducing the sodium content of any foods in which it is used. The grain also contains 30% potassium chloride, a mineral considered an essential health nutrient by doctors and health authorities around the world. The fact that both sodium and potassium are naturally present in the grain makes Saltwell unique and explains why its taste and appearance is much the same as regular sea salt, without any bitterness in its flavor.

Lower the salt content, but keep the flavor and performance

Saltwell is easy to use and works well in all types of food. It can be used with excellent results in e.g. sausages, meat and chicken dishes, baking or as regular table salt. Saltwell also works well in soups, sauces and spice blends. Switching to Saltwell is easy – an equal ratio (1:1) will produce the same taste and results as ordinary salt. The underground salt discovery that promotes global health

Saltwell is extracted from a million-year-old underground sea in Chile, South America. Beneath one of the Earth’s most arid and sterile environments in the Atacama Desert, mineral-rich sea water is pumped from a depth of 30-70 meters. Using an authentic sea salt method, the water is evaporated in open ponds under the strong rays of the blazing sun. During the process, a natural chemical reaction takes place to unite the potassium with the sodium. The fact that potassium and sodium are both present within the same grain is what makes Saltwell unique and why Saltwell performs and tastes like regular salt. Finally, a unique salt grain of a consistent quality emerges – a completely natural sea salt containing 35% less sodium than regular salt.
