As 2025 turned to 2026, some of the world’s largest manufacturers pulled products from more than 60 markets due to their baby milk being contaminated by the toxin cereulide. One major manufacturer tells Just Food the discovery was “unprecedented” but, nonetheless, it has worried families and, in France, sparked legal investigations, as our cover story explores.
